Golf Australia Express : Issue 6
In this week’s issue of OTG PGA DEFENDER: Martin Kaymer PLUS 93RD PGA CHAMPIONSHIP Glory’s Last Shot THE LIST : THE DREAM: Whistling Straits, Wisconsin, USA EDITOR’S LETTER The year’s final major—the PGA Championship—has long been regarded as the Ugly Duckling of the four. It’s probably a tad unfair to blame the event itself—being the last one nearing a long year makes it hard to sustain the excitement. And with two other bigger majors on US soil, a third is arguably one too many. If we could somehow convince the powers that be to move at least one major to another part of the world—Australia, Asia, even Antarctica, anywhere but America!—the final major will draw the kudos that the PGA currently lacks. That said, I’ll still be watching this week. See you on the green.
