Golf Australia Express : Issue 10
In this week’s issue of OTG THE QUIET ACHIEVER: Nick Watney THE WRAP: Webb’s Win THE TEST: PowaKaddy TOUCH Glory’s Last Shot OK. So I’m getting a little self-indulgent this week. The big fella’s finally turning the Big 3-0 so we put our creative heads together and thought: ‘Hey, why not relive the year you were born?’ And like that, our 1981 issue was born, too. Highlighting the careers of golfers born at the same time has shone a very bright light on just how successful I have not been. No majors, no Tour wins, no cuts made and still no sub- par rounds (despite a hole- in-one). Sorry, had to put that in. Yet in this week of reflection for me, I’ve come to realise just how much I still love this game, and how many goals I’m yet to fulfill. Luckily golf gives us that opportunity for a lifetime. See you on the green. DAMIAN SHUTIE email@example.com PHOTOGRAPHY BY CREATIVE CONSULTANT EDITORIAL - firstname.lastname@example.org ADVERTISING - email@example.com is published by OTG Media Pty.
