Golf Australia Express : January 2013
EXTREME makeover THEMUCH-ANTICIPATED release of Callaway's latest driver—the RAZR Fit Extreme—is upon us. And much like the Big Dog's popular predecessor—the RAZR Fit—the latest instalment is all about speed and distance. Throw in more forgiveness on off-centre hits and you've got a pretty formidable weapon off the tee. Callaway's major launch for 2013 is apparently the "longest fully adjustable driver the company has ever measured". Promising all the usual things like a greater centre of gravity, adjustability and faster clubhead speed, it's the brader scope for personalisation that will appeal most to golfers. Callaway’s RAZR Fit Xtreme comes in more lofts for a greater range of face angle options and is optimised to suit the needs of the players likely to use it. The 8.5-, 9.5- and 10.5-degree clubheads are 440cc (versus 460cc for other lofts) and feature a more open face angle. It's a nice addition to the RAZR franchise and an extremely good driver we reckon will be a smash hit in 2013. Check it our for yourself.
